I walk around like most of the other freshmen, with no idea what's going on or where anything is... haha...
Yesterday we left the house at around five, then pulled in here at around elevenish pacific time. Unpacked the whole lot...
That's basically what the area im sitting at now looks like. I'll upload more pictures of the room, my totally cute bed &the minifridge (possibly the best part?)
Anywho, the day was pretty long, said goodbye, cried a little, then started in on the orientation activities. Couldn't wait for them to be over so i could go to sleep!
Today I continued with orientation activities. Lots of stuff about where your classes are, what the expectations are, blah blah... useful, but not necessarily entertaining. Then I went on a trek to find an impossible to find building, which ended up being in plain sight! Have to switch two of my majors, cause they are in the wrong order. Additionally, even though i have a total of three majors, i still have not been assigned a single academic advisor. Most of this afternoon was spent figuring that mess out.
Met some nice people... everyone is pretty friendly. Went to the post office, by myself! whoo!
Meals at Bob's are super fabulous! Lots of selection, &quite delicious salads.
The feeling of independence is irreplaceable. But i still miss all my charter kids! My whole life revolved around you guys, &i wont forget all our crazy times! Love you guys!
Additionally, to any charter teacher who reads this, you guys prepared me for college pretty well. Thanks to you &my parents, I am very independent &self sufficient. WHoo hoo!
Anyway, if anyone feels like loving on me you can reach me at the following:
